Welcome 2011! Let's get back to business.

It’s seems a little odd to me that winter vacations are taken just as winter has started and not when it is in full swing. All around the world, local temperatures trail the solstices and equinoxes by as much as a month so it would make sense to take a vacation now. In any case, I’ve been on a “staycation” since winter officially began, taking time away from Twitter, Stumbleupon, and most other online media to revisit some of my past interests. I can’t recall how long it has been since I read a hardcover book or played a board game, but I think it is important to take a break from the online world once in a while. Of course, I still kept in touch the events around the world through news sites and rss feeds, I couldn’t be completely in the dark, and somehow Facebook was the one networking site I couldn’t stay away from.

Well I’m back online as of last Wednesday. With a queue of videos from Robert Scoble waiting along with some interesting developments in Facebook and Google, you’re going to see a few more updates on webmazing as well as eco-techo.

Wishing you all a wonderful new year, and the strength to keep your resolutions (if you have any).
